The cost/benefit doesn't make sense to me to not wear them. It's like turning down a free lottery ticket. Even a small chance of benefit outweighs the cost. The same is true with masks. There's essentially no cost and a small chance of benefit.

I actually like wearing a mask because it allows me to talk to fewer people.

We disagree that there is no cost.

Not seeing facial expressions, not seeing people smile, simply talking less, not being able to hear other people as well, and generally seeing fellow humans as sickly

then there is a business cost to people simply not wanting to go to a concert or bar or whatever if they have to wear a mask all night.

Then there is the children aspect

Then there is the uncleanliness of the used face masks

Then, of course, there is the complete lack of benefit

If you don't want to talk to people, wear your mask. I assure you they will avoid you

if there were evidence that masks worked, I'd be much more supportive of wearing them, as I am supportive of taking the vaccine as there is evidence they work.

The problem is, there is no evidence. And the burden should be on the government to provide that evidence as they attempt to mandate you cover your face at all times.

The sheep of course do not require evidence to obey what the tv tells them

I don't understand why the people who are hysterical about covid infections aren't outraged that Biden is allowing tens of thousands untested illegal migrants into the US... specifically in TX and FL by the way.

I'd ask you your opinion but that I recognize that "lol" is probably the best I could hope for
 
I'm unclear where the disconnect is when someone says people at risk should take the vaccine but those that are not should not.
