At least 10,947 new virus carriers were identified on Monday, with 7.65% of people tested returning a positive test. On only one other occasion since the beginning of the pandemic has the country recorded more than 10,000 cases – 10,118 – on January 18, during the peak of the third wave the most virulent and deadliest the country experienced.

Thankfully serious cases are still low but the idea that vaccination prevents infection or spread is not just laughable...its completely devoid of fact.

No one claims vaccines prevent spread...what the evidence show is the reduce spread

And they reduce death and serious illness bigly

I also would like to take a quick minute to touch on the idea that vaccines are reducing death/serious illness.

While its true that 'vaccinated' people are having less poor outcomes we still don't know how many of those vaccinated had prior infection because Big Pharma is making sure that nobody realizes that natural infection is the best course of action for the majority of people.

The evidence showed they significantly reduced the spread of Alpha but the data is still incomplete for Delta. At this point it does look very likely that the vaccines are less effective at stopping the spread of Delta though they still do likely prevent some spread. However, the vaccines remain highly effective at preventing severe illness.

This explains how Delta is infecting vaccinated people but why the infections aren't as bad and why there are any fewer serious infections among the vaccinated.
