This was always going to lead to conflict in the streets. The jettison of special forces and other military personal was the big tell.

In other words, it is expunging anyone who is willing to ask questions or stand up to tyrannical rules from the government.

I’m not interested in revolutions…there’s a contagious disease going around , but we have a vaccine available that essentially prevents folks from dying or getting seriously ill…it’s there if they want it, with no out of pocket cost to the recipient…there’s enough supply that anyone can walk in and get it on demand.

That alone should be enough to end the nonsense. The govts role should be promoting good, reliable information to the people and offering incentives to get the vaccine. Private entities are free to require their customers to be vaccinated, or wear a mask, or whatever else they want, within reason.

And that’s really it. Shouldn’t be anymore complicated than that. No mandates or house arrests or contradictory rules or travel bans or dead puppies.

I'm putting out this legal question because I curious what people think. Please don't try to google the answer.

Lets say there's a fire raging in a city and a fire break needs to be established by demolishing buildings around the fire. Your home lies right in the middle of the path the government wants to use to establish the fire break. Can the government tear down your house without your consent? Do they have to compensate you if they do?

my experience with municipal governments is that they are insulated from all sorts of claims for damages
