It is true.
The majority of people that die of COVID have 4+ co-morbidities so these were people that were getting close to their end as is.
Incredibly small percentage of healthy people of all ages (60 and younger) that are dying.
Here's where that comes from:
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm
"Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The number of deaths that mention one or more of the conditions indicated is shown for all deaths involving COVID-19 and by age groups. For over 5% of these deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death. For data on deaths involving COVID-19 by time-period, jurisdiction, and other health conditions"
What's the number 1 comorbidity? "Influenza and pneumonia" with a little less than half having that. This is doctors including the pneumonia caused by Covid in the death certificate which makes it officially a comorbidity but in reality, it's more an effect of Covid.
What's the number 2 comorbidity? "Respiratory failure" which was on roughly 38% of total Covid death certificates. Respiratory failure is another effect of Covid, not a pre-existing condition.
Others on the list that are effects of Covid: Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (10%), Renal Failure (13%), Cardiac Arrest (12%), and Sepsis (9%).
So there are undoubtedly a lot of death certificates out there that say "Covid and Pneumonia" or "Covid and Renal Failure" that were actually perfectly healthy people prior to getting sick.
