Don’t think OSHA would be in charge of ERISA or whatever standard governs their retirement benefits. Again, happy to clarify these things for you.

Wouldn’t think you could revoke vested benefits without cause, and “retiring” isn’t cause. My guess is this is probably not an accurate report, but who knows. Wouldn’t believe everything you read on Twitter dot com, especially from someone who ends up in sturg’s feed.

I’m actually kind of worried about you, sturg. At the begin of the pandemic you were all “hey let’s grab a beer sometime” and now I find you angrily ****posting “TYRANNY, USEFUL IDIOTS” in some sort of fugue state and taking weird personal potshots at what you think my educational choices are.

If they’ve served long enough for retirement benefits, Chicago should absolutely just let them have their ****ing benefits. I think they should just get vaccinated instead, but if they choose not to, why not let them get what’s owed to them?
