The Coronavirus, not the beer

But that's not what the CDC said today. They didn't say they have 0 data on reinfections. The FOIA request I think you're talking about asked for data on the number of people who 1) have never had the vaccine, 2) had covid once and were re-infected, AND 3) transmitted it to others.

That's what the CDC said they had no data on. They didn't say they had no data on re-infections.

It's not worth engaging with duhduh, he doesn't even believe information shared in things that he links

They don't have data on it because they don't want data on it.

They don't have data on it because they don't want data on it.

They don't have data in Covid giving you super powers because they don't want data on it. Or it could be because the idea is nonsense.

Covid reinfections not being transmissible only in unvaccinated is absolute nonsense.

thethe retreating to naturally immune not getting reinfected is at least possible. The evidence isn't there but it's more possible than certain people having magically non-contagious Covid.

Minnesota has reported over 8,000 Covid reinfections. But yeah, it doesn't happen. Natural immunity gives perfect and complete protection.

Schwirtz recovered after two weeks of rest and minimal water and food intake and happily sought COVID-19 vaccination in February. She remained cautious when classes started this fall, going in early to sanitize rooms in which she was teaching to reduce risks for students, when she suffered allergy-like symptoms and tested positive again in early October.

You should read your articles.

Notice how they don’t say in the article that number includes unvaccinated people testing positive twice. It’s too bad this “teacher” didn’t follow the science and realize she had PERFECT immunity prior to getting a trash vaccine that interrupts how your body typically functions.

That’s why we are seeing cases spike like crazy in heavily vaccinated areas while the powers that be claim it’s all unvaccinated and people like you just nod your head.

Her first coronavirus infection came in late December, when her family celebrated after months of home confinement by going downhill skiing and eating out.

Schwirtz thought she had food poisoning but realized it must be something else because people who ate the same food were healthy.

The funny thing is I know it’s implied but in the description it never actually says she had a positive test for her first time but they do in the second time. Why not specially say she tested positive that first time? Sounds more self reported to me for that first time.

Let’s also note that up until recently the sensitivity on the pcr tests were yielding a high percentage of false positives. So in reality we don’t truly know how accurate the data is on first infections.

Even with all that all reporting is that reinfection is extremely rare but if that was different you can bet your ass we would all of a sudden see studies that were done to prove that.

Good lord. I'm beginning to think you don't have the slightest idea how the immune system works. You're actually asserting the vaccine would harm someone's natural immunity?

You accuse people who advocate getting vaccinated as being part of a cult but you've hit the point where you're not even trying to look at things rationally. Something is automatically true if it aligns with your anti vaxer stance and automatically false if it doesn't.

At least try to understand how things work before going off half cocked. Theres literally no rational reason why the vaccine would negatively impact natural immunity in the least. If anything it would cause your natural immunity to kick in even stronger.

I don’t think vaccinated people are a cult. I think they’ve been duped.

I never claimed someone who got a vaccine isnt susceptible to a reinfection. That whole point of that letter to the cdc is to promote natural immunity prevent people from having to be vaccinated.

I’m sorry you’re getting frustrated because you thought you brought an article to Counter that. You didn’t.

But hey. You’re the one who still believes what you’re being told despite having been lied to on numerous occasions regarding the vaccine.

You say there is literally no reason the vaccine would impair the bodies immunity and yet we have absolute zero clue what mRNA vaccines do long term In Human beings. So yeah... I am saying it impairs it. Just call it a conspiracy theory next please.

Your vaccine is 100% effective.

Your vaccine prevents you from getting infected

Your vaccine prevents you from spreading covid.

Sure sounds like they know what this vaccine will do long term to the human body. Keep believing striker.

And again. My position remains unchanged from when the vaccines were first released.

At risk people should get vaccinated.

I would agree that natural immunity is better. Reinfection rates remain low (though reinfections happen, among unvaccinated too) and natural immunity is clearly more durable. This even meshes with how the immune system works.

Where we diverge is where the vaccine is concerned. I honestly don't get your opposition to it. The issue I'm having is you don't seem to be basing your opposition to it on actual data.

Honestly, your opposition is based on fear. You keep saying things like "We have zero clue what the mRNA vaccine does long term." That's a position based on fear of the unknown rather than any actual evidence.

The mRNA process has been studied for decades. We have a very, very good handle on the process. By knowing the process we know what the potential dangers are.

I encourage you to read up on how the mRNA vaccine works. The more I've looked into how it works the more confident I've gotten in the safety of the vaccine, especially long term. It's been a long process but we've finally hit the point where we have the technology to make these vaccines that are far preferable to traditional vaccines in a lot of ways.

I don't believe what I'm told. I believe what the evidence says and what makes logical sense. For example, I'm not going to rush to get my son vaccinated when he turns 5 in a month. The risk of Covid to very young children is so small that the tiny risk the vaccines present aren't massively outweighed by the benefits. I'm waiting to see more evidence of the risks in relation to the benefits.

“We can achieve herd immunity with vaccination”

Add it to the stack of lies based in the idea they have absolutely no clue what this trash vaccine will do in the human body.

It's astounding how much the vaccine narrative has changed and the sheep just go along with the new update without a single critical thought

I don’t know how anyone can take the position where anything that is said by the medical community on covid can be trusted.

They are starting to figure it out... More likely due to collapsing poll numbers rather than logic and data
