I pointed out to the lecturer that Vermont wasn't looking good about 3 months ago.
 
Can't wait till we are able to compare the control groups to the vaccinated groups in a few more months.

People are going to be shocked at the results.

You were all sold a bag of beans.

Vaccines are only ever meant for at risk people.

Your re right about their low vaccination rate and I was wrong. Thanks for correcting the info.

Why isn't the press blasting Whitmer for her state's lower than avg vaccination rate... that was all the rage when cases were rising in Florida... they even termed it the "desalts variant" or "death Santis"

Its going to be glorious to see the news coverage when its determined that vaccines are causing this massive spread we are seeing and that Ivermectin/HCQ are highly effective when used properly.

Spread is high amongst highly vaccinated areas. Lots of graphs have told this story.

Its can't be blamed on unvaccinated when you have over 90% vaccination rates.

I’m not sure what the solution is, but one thing I’ve noticed a bit with some of the numbers is that the positivity rate remains much lower in some of the most vaccinated states despite the increases. Vermont is being looked at right now for its surge, but that’s despite the fact that it remains one of the states with the lowest positivity rates in the country, a trend that seems to hold true in almost every highly vaccinated, but lowly populated state.

Thats what happens when you test asymptomatic people.

Its a great way to reduce those numbers.

Asymptomatic people should never be tested
Healthy people should not be vaccinated
Therapeutics should be administered to everyone early

Without knowing the data I suspect blue states test a lot of healthy people a lot more frequently bc they are so obsessed with it.

That would drive positive rate down
 
The week of 11/07 (the most recent all of this data has been available), Vermont saw 2,582 confirmed Covid cases. Of those, 902 were fully vaccinated (the highest of any week) and 1,680 were not fully vaccinated (no data on partially vaccinated).

452,450 people are vaccinated in Vermont and 171,539 are not fully vaccinated.

So fully vaccinated people in Vermont contracted Covid the week of 11/07 at a rate of 199 per 100,000. Unvaccinated people in Vermont contracted Covid at a rate of 979 per 100,000.

In other words, unvaccinated/partially vaccinated people are about 4.9 times as likely to contract Covid in Vermont as vaccinated people. Virtually the same stat we're seeing everywhere else.
