The saving grace is that vaccination still seems to be keeping people from the hospitals at an acceptable rate. But you are right, at the rate this is going we'll be surging through this season.

I mean the data is pretty clear that omicron is about as severe as a general cold for vaccinated and unvaccinated alike... not sure the vaccination has anything to do with it. The saving grace is we have a new mutation that is really contagious but basically gives you allergies. I've been someone who's taken this whole pandemic very seriously... but come on.
