Despite everyone being vaxxed and wearing KN95s inside any building besides our house, the whole family is down with COVID. The timeline is right for the first person to have picked it up at a dentist appointment. Moral of the story is, don't waste your time trying to not catch something that's more transmissible than the common cold.

Good luck. It seems like if you're vaxxed and/or in decent health, your odds are you'll be OK.

Sucks, stay safe, hopefully you don't get severe symptoms short or long term. I know you're into crossfit and other things, just remember coming out, this is a respiratory illness your lung capacity etc. is going to be reduced. So ease back in and you should be hopefully back into shape in not too long. Take your time, rest, stay hydrated and get better.

Two things

1) They start the study in May. Why didn't they start it earlier? That's because the blue states were getting eaten up Covid in winter. Basically, the blue states lost their most vulnerable before the study even began.

2) The south had to deal with Biden bussing illegals all throughout the south. With about 18% of the illegal population carrying the highly contagious Delta variant it's no wonder the south got hit the hardest.

I do think the vaccine has helped but this study is exaggerating its effects.
