The Coronavirus, not the beer

@aliceysu
As seen on Weibo: Shanghai residents go to their balconies to sing & protest lack of supplies. A drone appears: “Please comply w covid restrictions. Control your soul’s desire for freedom. Do not open the window or sing.”

—————

We can only hope the drones were reprogrammed to say “fweedom,” ideally with a “MUH” before it…not sure how well that translates, though…

Surely you're not criticizing this kitchen sink approach. Are you a pro COVID traitor?

The only thing he has left is to root for people to die in a war.

It was always so weird how he compared covid to fighting a war... and wanted to take bets on which states would have more deaths. The dude just loves wars and young people suffering for them

By the way he won't answer if he does or not bc admitting he doesn't admits that the masks were never needed... And admitting he does admits that he is a complete idiot

This is why he refuses to answer the question.

Reminder... the dude who lectured us for 2 years about masks, won't opine on whether he still wears his mask for this exact reason

For those doubting the efficacy of measures like masks and social distancing in suppressing airborne pathogens, the graph below provides food for thought. It shows the percentage of specimen tested that were positive for Influenza Type A. It covers the period 2017 to 2021. Four spikes for the flu seasons in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Nada for the last flu season. I think it gives an inkling of how things might have gone without interventions like masks, social distancing, restrictions on indoor gatherings.

When everything is classified as COVID the influenza numbers disappear.

Sturg had a great graphic of all the new COVID symptoms.

The data are for samples tested for Influenza Type A. Each flu season the percentage that test positive spike up to 20% or higher. Didnt happen this past flu season.

Also lol

Britain not putting out Covid data, and the last few months worth of data was…. Not encouraging. Wonder why

Excess mortality on 18-49 year olds should make everyone question what the hell is going on.

The fact that the usual suspects aren't talking about excess mortality anymore is the big tell.

Why'd you stop brining up excess mortality?

I don't really believe I have? I don't post in here because no ones minds are going to be changed. Yelling at brick walls isn't productive. I'll discuss things that patently and obviously false, like the UK not reporting COVID info.

We all know why you stopped posting about it.

Stop pretending otherwise.

We are still in the third inning of COVID and the results of various countries policy decisions.
