I very much disagree with Biden that we should not have mandatory minimums. There should long mandatory minimums for crimes that use government authority to victimize a public citizen. LONG LONG mandatory sentences.

Theres few things less ironic than Trump attacking Biden on the crime bill and as you know, Its something I have talked about for years. I was told here no one cares. Sure heard a lot about it over the last 6 years.
 
One thing Joe really missed on is when Trump said he ran because Joe and Obama did such a bad job. Trump has run about 4 times and all the other times he dropped out in embarrassment at how bad he was doing. He has been salivating at running for President since the 80's when he used to trash Reagan and say all the same things he says now about China but about Japan. I think he ran because he saw how good of shape the country was in. We had 70 straight months of economic growth averaging 2.5% GDP growth and took the country from 10% unemployment down to under 4.5%. Trump said we would see 4 and 5% GDP growth but under Trump we actually had the same 2.5% GDP growth and he claims its the greatest economy to exist. He didnt create the greatest economy, he piggybacked on the success of the previous administration and it was such a strong economy that it only took Donald Trump 30 months to turn from a boom into a bust. Just look at the VA. We passed a law allowing veterans to be able to get medical care from private doctors if it takes too long at the VA.... Trump comes along and adds blindness in both eyes to the list of reasons a veteran can seek outside medical care and he wants credit for creating the whole program.
 
I thought both candidates performed well. Trump getting Biden to say he wants to end the oil industry was a big win. That’s going to be in campaign ads the next couple weeks.

Trump missed on Hunter Biden. Joe baited him into talking about himself and his taxes and Trump took it. Joe is obviously very vulnerable on this and he knows it.

Trump didn't need to land a kill shot on that issue. Just introduce it to thr American people. The avalanche of information will take Biden down.

There are 11 days left and about 50 million people have voted and Trumps campaign is hemorrhaging cash. You are right about the taxes. He got Trump to again lie about releasing them. First debate Joe seemed really low energy. Really brought it tonight. Trumps style imo works very well with low information voters. Democrats would do well to learn from it but they wont.

Last thing you want is fact checking. It was the right statement to make where 99.9% of people who are influenced by what they say arent the ones that are going to be looking these things up. Its slightly dishonest but complaining about that in a political debate is silly.

Joe has been running a 4th quarter offense for months now. He won’t answer with any substance. The closest he’s come to answering a question about court packing is a cop out about putting together a commission to study the issue.

IMO, this is a problem with Biden and other moderate democrats. The party would be better off if it were more like Bernie and AOC and were more transparent about their policies and intentions.
