The Don

They do both suck. But There's only 3 candidates for the dems. I like Sanders, I sort of like O'Malley, and I hate Clinton. But like Rubio, Christie, Bush, or Kasich I don't think Hilary would be a drastic shift from the status quo. I don't like the status quo but it's a lot better than living under the Sharia Law that Carson, Cruz, Huckabee, and Santorum would want.

I can't complain about that post so you know I am being honest.

You are so right in your last sentence, so right.

What utter tripe. Hey, but it's the sort of garbage that flows from the leftist's spigot.

Is it ?

with policy guided by religious dogma -- Sharia Law or ... Law -- what is the difference ?
Oh I get it, ... Law pays better in the good ole US of A
gotcha

teams and all that
....

kidding aside, have you been reading what these people are saying ?
Or, hate to say it but have they blinded you with their "stance" on family planning - women's issues ?

I will bet you a dollar next to a do -nut come general election time that "stance" gets real mushy

Tell me, using examples of where it is in practice, what the differences would be between the penal codes of Shari'a and the penal codes under a Cruz or Rubio or Carson or Huckabee administration would be. That would get us started in evaluating y'all's leftist religious dogma.

I get using hyperbole, but the problem with you and I suppose Z (though I thought him to be of sounder mind) is I think you really believe it.

Speaking of donuts - a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for $4 tomorrow in Charlotte. It's good being a Panther fan.

Hey Beds, I sent you a reply to your reply to me. By the way I read the other day about a town in NC where they are against/afraid of having a solar energy farm because they think it'll suck all the energy from the sun. Any truth to that?

Ha! Truth to there being such a town or whether solar will suck all the energy from the sun? ;-)

Okay - I'll check and respond.

wow, last week it was prayer shaming this week it's theophobia.

Tell me, when y'all going to talk about fixing the bridges, roads or financing public education.
Is there an alternative Health Care program being touted ?

Or is it non stop ... sloganeering over faux issues ?

Ah here is one for you. Taylor Swift wants to copyright "Swiftness" in place of you know ...

I doubt they even notice those kinds of things. One thing I've learned from these people is that like all bigots they usually lack self-awareness.

Better thing to learn, I'd think, is to rely on cheek-turning, and not resort to indictments, denigrations, and generalized ad hominem attacks at all.

I mean, is a person bigoted against bigots not themselves a bigot? Unpretzel yourself as your leisure.

I don't think he meant to say it literally to be honest. No way at all. I don't believe he would like beheading people, cutting hands off and females not driving and covered (he would really hate that) is what he referring to.

I think it was an analogy.

Another thing I learned is that when I get replies like this it's usually because my comments are hitting a little too close to home. Isn't that right, jpx7? ;)

See his follow up. Why try to defend him AA?

I'm waiting for you to show me those penal codes. I know you'd rather not because you know how ludicrous it will make y'all's rhetoric sound.

Again, show me the penal code of a country that employs Shari'a and let's compare. Stop with the inane tripe.

Sorry I'm (to use Garmel's words) "hitting a little to close to home" call it what you will, but folks I mentioned want to enact laws with no basis other than their religious beliefs. Was a being a tad hyperbolic calling it Sharia Law? Yes. But it elicited the reaction I was hoping for.
