Stop blaming the media for the **** that comes out of that moron's mouth. If he could respond to things like an adult this wouldn't be talked about so much. But he just can't stop putting his tiny foot in his mouth. It's bizarre. It's not about just misogyny; it's about respect, racism (yes, calling her Ms. Housekeeping is just that), and who he is as a person. The media isn't talking enough about him stiffing small businesses his entire life, so in that regard they're doing him a favor.

I tend to agree with you. I should have clarified that this is how I think Trump will play this debate's results. I have no idea whether or not it will work for him. He will have to come out guns a-blazin' at the next debate. My guess is she'll do the "Where's the Beef?" bit Mondale pulled on Hart. Trump has to get specific at some point and I don't know if he can.

How does one even describe Trump's downward spiral? A trainwreck that won't end? Epic meltdown? An out of control orangutan throwing his feces at everyone in sight?

He has been the worst we have ever seen. But going against the second worst we've ever seen is like a midget contest. Trump loses and Hillary wins.
But I can't vote for a liar and deceiver either. Whomever wins, I really don't care, they both suck. If she had been truthful I would get on my knees and bow down for her, but my core beliefs is in honesty and if you are not honest, I lost respect for you. If you done something bad, just say it and with honesty, I will vote for you.

And I was just thinking of supporting Trump. As bad as he is he would be the best President to fight the SJW movement that is poisoning the minds of our youth. It must be stopped before the becoming a voting majority. If they get enough people the Democrat party now will be the conservative party. This movement is dangerous. They will get violent and Trump winning will set them off. Then the government will do what they do best and violently crackdown on them. Especially with Trump as President. That **** will take down our country faster than any middle eastern terrorist.

I'm not blaming the media for what Trump does, which is why I say Trump is Trump. But to ignore the impact the media has had in the election, from both the left and the right, is to ignore a major player in this election. The left wing mainstream media was very soft on Trump up until he won the nomination. Imo, they wanted him to win the nomination. For their part, Drudge Report and Breitbart strongly pushed Trump which imo, played a huge roll in Trump winning the nomination. If the main stream media hit Trump as hard as they are now earlier in the primaries and Drudge and Breitbart didn't push him, then I find it hard to believe Trump would have won the primary. It's unfortunate for the right that Matt Drudge has become conspiratorial and Breitbart was invaded by a nationalist parasite.

But the media has been hard on Hillary as well. I get light-headed a couple of times a day due to my blood pressure that is in the same zone as Hillary's and I don't have news cameras following me around wondering if I'm at the edge of death. I don't smile much either, but no one points it out to me countless times. The Clinton Foundation has been investigated top-to-bottom and every angle has been explored in that regard. Plus, there has been a false equivalency in the name of balance that has actually helped Trump. And frankly, I don't think the mainstream media matters as much as it used to. The various sites on cable and the internet that cater to niche audiences and reinforce their views probably have as much a net effect as the big players in that they firm up the ideological bases.
Trump's problem is that he's been Trump. Hillary has done a lot of stuff in her career that has earned the scorn of the portion of the public and that's political life. But she has done this from a set of core beliefs (and, of course, ambition). Trump has spent his adult life being a loose cannon and there's just a bunch of stuff that he simply can't wash off. The media is always going to cover four-alarm fires and train wrecks.

I agree that Trump's problem is that he's Trump, but I just think you're completely off base in regards to media coverage. The only folks covering Hillary's health issues were Breitbart and Paul Joseph Watson from infowars. The mainstream media called it nothing but conspiracy. CNN fired Dr. Drew because he dared to even question that she should probably release her medical records. The only reason the mainstream media had to cover it was because of the viral video of her collapsing into a van. Google purposely changed its search engine suggestions to where it wouldn't pull up Hillary's health issues. And no way in hell has the Clinton Foundation been fully investigated by the same corrupt DOJ and FBI that investigated Hillary's emails. And by the way instead of fully covering Comey's congressional hearing the mainstream media decided to cover Miss Universe. Now, I agree that a good candidate would shift the topic but it's still important to point out the bias.
Mainstream media doesn't matter as much. That is true. Social media is more important. But social media is run by the regressive left. Not by liberals, but the dangerous regressive left. CEO of twitter Jack Dorsey is a huge black lives matter and social justice movement supporter. He figuratively and possibly literally is in bed with one of BLM's strongest voices Deray McKesson. Google is similarly far to the left. And of course you know about Facebook getting in trouble recently. Again, Trump is terrible but it's important to point out this bias now, because in 4 years that bias is till going to be there when Hillary is challenged by hopefully a stronger opponent.

Your own article doesn't really support your point. Reminds me of people getting upset about "niggardly."
I don't doubt that some people have called black kids "tar babies," but that's not the common usage (I looked in a couple of online dictionaries and none of them referenced the racial angle). I would liken it to calling folks "monkeys;" calling a person either one is wildly offensive, but the use of the word in it's proper context has no implied racial overtones.

I have actually read the story and it has NOTHING to do with race. It's about craftiness and pretending to be afraid of what someone might do to you while actually baiting them to do that very thing. This is, I have argued, exactly what Hillary appears to do have done to Trump. Yes, the term "tar baby" is in the story. Perhaps the use of that term was insensitive, or appears insensitive now. I can see that. But so what? That's water under the bridge. Grow up for Chissakes and get over it.
The story does comes from African American folk wisdom, which I admit I've always been fond of, even if it was compiled and published by a white man. I'm sorry you experienced racials slurs. I have too. It's not fun. But life goes on and you should know the difference between an actual slur and someone just using the word.
