I've been reading a great book from the early-1980s about party realignment in America since the Jacksonian era. It gets bogged down in a few too many numbers for my taste (but it's an academic work after all so I've got to expect that) and some of the prose is turgid, but I would recommend it for anyone who is curious about how the two major parties have re-aligned themselves throughout American history.

We've got wiki leaks coming out showing Hilary's corruption at the highest levels and you're sitting here worried about some guy basically bragging in the locker room about getting laid.

Are you going to sit and pretend that Trump is the only politician out there who has hung around the boys and talked like this? I can guarantee you that pretty much every single one of them, minus maybe a Bernie Sanders has done it. Only difference is that they aren't caught on tape doing it and if they are it's not going to be released because they don't have the world against them due to an obvious coordination among both parties and the media to get Hilary elected.

People's priorities are so ****ed up these days. Welcome to another 4 or 8 years of the same old ****, different name. Another cycle of absolutely nothing being done for you or me and everything being done for big business. People have a chance to finally break the cycle of the establishment here and they aren't going to do it because an old white guy bragged about how prowess with women around some other guys. The stupidity of that is mind numbing. This thing is a hell of a lot bigger than that but people are so short sighted that they'll allow the media, big banks and wall street to continue to run all over us because of some locker room talk that we have all taken part in at some point in our lives. Trump isn't going to fix everything and he might not fix anything but choosing not to elect yet another one of the "good old boys" would be a revolutionary step for the voters of this country.

I don't think you understand what corruption means.

Growing up outside of a major NE city in the late 50's and early 60's those things you are calling corruption got parks and bridges named after you.
Corruption is when a congressman hands out checks from the tobacco lobby on the House floor for voting as instructed.
Then once he retires he is given a multi million dollar lobbying job by said tobacco lobby.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the irony that people are so upset about Trump possibly sexually assaulting dozens of women but all these same people don't give two ****s about all the women sexually assaulted in the war on drugs. Is being cavity searched any less rape because it's done by someone with a badge? I know no one gives a **** about the men so I won't even waste my time on them. Yeah I know, they deserve it for smoking a joint. So spare me the Bull****. Most of you are voting for candidates that will continue a policy that will lead to hundreds of thousands of women being sexually assaulted for the horrific crime of drug possesion during their term as President.
