I don’t think it’s that illogical, TBH.
If you have say three states that you think the Senate is going to come down to, you might individually think (D) is a slight favorite in each of those races, but might like (R) overall if they only need the upset in one out of the three.
It would be like in the NFL if there were three teams who were -150 favorites to win their matchups…if you parlayed them all together, you’d certainly get plus odds.
