There's no reason for weed to be illegal and alcohol or cigs to be legal.

The reasons rights now are "Because people need to put down the doobie and read the bible" and "Police man on tv say he cant keep us safe if it was legal". Thats why I have so much contempt for these groups.

Simple possession of Marijuana is a slap on the wrist everywhere if you arent a prick to the cops.

That's not true. ANd if your reliance on the law is police and judges not strictly enforcing it then what's the point? In Indiana for possession of any amount of weed oyu can get up to 1000 dollar fine and up to 180 days in jail.

That’s 1000% true. It doesn’t matter what you could get it only matters what you do get. Simple charges like speeding, no turn signal, simple possession etc are up to the cops discretion. It’s all about whether or not you’re a prick to the officer who pulled you over.

There's no jail time for speeding or no turn signal.

And in a world with the private prison system you can bet some of them are giving some judges a little extra money/perks to err to the side of conviction to prison.
