The Impossibly Cool Doctor Who Thread

The master already has gotten around the 13 limit, so it's not exactly a hard and fast rule. It's been established that the clock can be reset by the Time Lord Council or whoever, and, why... look at how the Day of the Doctor ended... They were gonna have to deal with the doctor running out of regenerations as some point in the near future, so I can see Moffat wanting to go ahead and put his stamp on that.

The Master going past 13 was different but you're right the time lords in some form can reset the cycle or something like that. I'm sure they'll find a way around it, Doctor Who's grasp on continuity and logic is weak, but that's a healthy part of it's charm.

Finally caught the time of the Doctor. Man I miss Amy. Shame Matt Smith is done, he did a heck of a job. Hopefully Capaldi as good of a job.

Capaldi is a superb actor. I first watched him on the BBC Show The Thick of It (written by the same guy who later went on to create more hilariously brilliant political satire, in Veep).

The British do dry comedy better than anyone, anywhere. For that matter they do all TV better with the exception of the action genre.

Capaldi brought a different doctor. Probably more like Eccleston. I think he won't be very popular with many Who fans who really love Tenant or Smith. He did a great job in the first episode though. Really curious about the direction of the season.
