The NOT August 12 2017 Gamethread

Newk is showing why he's a "stuff #4". The "stuff" allows him to pitch a no-hitter, but the inconsistency leads to him producing as a #4 overall.

No. What you're seeing here is a tired arm with no stuff. 4 days rest plus 130+ pitches from the start before last has taken a toll on him.

LOL, just keep that sig up hero. He got like 7 days of rest after the 130 pitch outing, and was fine in his next start vs the Nats. He is now pitching on regular rest.

Remind me...what do we call a ~2 win SP?

Reread the post you quoted...then get your tuition money back from that "college" you attended.

I learnd reading in high school. They dont teach reading at missisippi state.

When I did reread her post, i seed I read it rong. Apologies to GG

Who is pitching and who is catching in this relationship? Jeez, guys.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for the day when he realizes his sig is constant proof that I was right about both players and removes it.

Newks HR rate has already normalized exactly as I predicted, and now the BABIP is following suit...as predicted.

I'll have quite a bit of fun pointing it out haha.

It's becoming a bit of a trend for us to lose the lead lately. Our pitching has really let us down.

Also, I'm still pissed we didn't go after Yelich.

Poor Enscheff. Newcomb had two great starts in a row and you had to wait until a tired arm Newcomb had a bad game so you could beat your chest. LOL!

Dude...

What is a 2 win pitcher called? Literally...the definition of a 2 win pitcher?

Are you seriously this dumb, or are you just trolling?

I'll help you educate yourself...again:

I'm quite sure you won't bother to increase your limited knowledge base though.

So derp along hero, derrrrrp along!

Just keep that sig up. Thanks.

If it were up to me, if you walk someone $500 dollars.

If I walked anyone growing up as as pitcher even on a team with Terry Shumpter and Steve Finley, we paid the price of being punished. They must have lifted that because it might be too old school.

My dad would punish me by taking a dollar out of my allowance for walking anyone unless it was intentional. I have noticed when we walk people, they tend to score a lot.
