Is it really in peril? The Russians track and field team kicked out, super bacteria in Olympic Bay, the Brazilian economy tanking, etc. Looks like a disaster in the making.

It's gonna be the worst Olympics in a really long time. But there always seems to be at least a little drama leading up to the Olympics with things not being done. The water thing and Zika though are pretty extra terrible.

What we're seeing now though is a bigger pullback than usual. That being said, 90% of the athletes will be there because this is their stage, they get once every 4 years to make a name for themselves.

Well maybe Cairo would get one, but I doubt it. It's gonna go on a heavy Europe, high end asia and NA kick is my guess. Maybe give Sydney one again.

No LeBron, no Steph, no Westbrook for the Olympic team this year. Durant, Carmelo, and Paul George are confirmed - still should take home the gold
