Is your suggestion that our government should be making policy based on the wishes of the Pope?
are you really not that bright?
how did you come to the conclusion?
the suggestion is to listen to scientists and actually do something. the pope saw it and spoke, i am curious when R's will do the same
i'm tying a religious leaders view to the ask a question to the republican party membersI just don't understand why you're invoking the opinion of the Pope - unless you think the government should take his advice on all issues? I don't see the relevance of the Pope's opinion. Perhaps you can help me understand

if you don't understand why i would do such a thing, not really sure what to tell you since it seems you are blind to the religious leanings of that party
that's an interesting take on my position
you had a position in all of that?
since it seems you are blind to the religious leanings of that party
I happen to disagree with you the republican (or democratic) party should take their mandates on policy from the Pope. To each their own
the Pope knows there is a problem and knows change has to happen, when will R's....
So what's your point? Are you going to start a thread anytime someone agrees about climate change?
you quoted post 5 and then still typed post 8
i am guessing you are just trolling now so enjoy
Please keep me posted on what the Pope thinks so that we can get our politicians following suit
The point he was Makin sturg is the R's have fought a public battle over warming saying the science is not settled or they don't need to trust scientists. Or that they take orders from god. Well here is a hugely influential religious leader whom was also a scientist as well that says we need to take action. If religious conservatives still can't take someone as religiously influential as the Pope seriously then they won't ever unless god shouts from the heavens to do so (which you and I know will never happen).
If scientists say that babies aren't constructed in the womb, but developed, would libs abort abortion?

I personally am in favor of abortion more because of population control. We're lucky to not have a huge population as China or India where resources will be scarce soon.
And I am not a religious person and haven't been one for a decade now.
