The information we have is that a citizen was falsely arrested by immigration officers for not showing his papers and hauled out into the cold in his underwear, and the government justifying it because they were looking for two other people. The information that doesn’t exist is any evidence of wrongdoing by this falsely arrested citizen, so I’d argue the “denaturalize and deport him” side is the one jumping to conclusions here.
