Calling half the country deplorables is a start?
the ones baying for Ilan to be sent back last night are in that category
but I don't think half the country is like that...and if half were then I wouldn't hesitate to apply the term...sometimes most of a country loses it and it remains for those of us who haven't to make the observation about what is happening
I mean you asked for an example and I gave it.
Much of what Omar has said is deplorable.
But she has protection
I agree she has said deplorable things and I think it needs to be covered. She is both victim and perp in this situation. The two need are not mutually exclusive.
Trump is the result of the societal changes the left is pushing. To act like trump caused this discourse is well...cute.
This has been brewing for decades. Push enough and call us all racists for daring to question the orthodoxy this is whats going to happen.
Trump is the result of pandering to people that actually vote. He doesn't care about young people, black people, or other minorities, because they don't vote. He pandered 40+ year old lower-middle class white people, because that is who votes. I'll give him credit for knowing his audience.
Obama isnt the anti-christ. Hes just the worst president we have had in decades - maybe longer.
Wont have to worry about your scenario. Trump continues to get more support as tge russia collusion dies and shows it to be the fraud it was.
And yet he has more minority support than any republican president/candidate in a long time. Keep throwing veiled racist comments and watch as americans realize the left doesnt have an interest in their well being.
Calling half the country deplorables is a start?
I mean I guess. I don't see how that's worse, but certainly it was petty, to say the least. The Clinton's are pretty terrible people though.
... "you guess?"
What does deplorable mean, exactly?
What does deplorable mean, exactly?
I honestly don't know if you're being rhetorical or if you really want to know.
Exactly how was Obama the worst Prez in decades? I don't think he was amazing or anything, but his policies help to cut the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.7% over six years, ended pre-existing clauses for insurance (which I think is HUGELY underrated), ended the War in Iraq (which was costing us billions), ectc. I don't think there's been a exceptionally good Prez since Reagan, but I'd put him over Clinton and GW.
Economic 'growth' out of a deep recession is one of the biggest guarantees in american history.
basket of deplorables is the technical term
boorish people would be my definition...but its never smart for a politician to fire up the opposition by calling them names...except for commie and socialist...those seem pretty effective...
all right I have a small confession to make: some (though not most) of my opposition to Trump and his supporters is on esthetic grounds...I could share a colorful story or two about weddings I've attended...but I will leave it at that...shoot me...in some ways i'm a snob...I wish nothing but happiness for Trump's basket of deplorables...but I also wish they would show a little class
