I guess this kind of racism is reserved for Trump rallies.
Let’s see; 57 and zito will argue that it really happened, Julio won’t care that it was fabricated and Goldie will argue that somehow it was Trumps fault

I don't know anything about this person. But as someone who has been both the recipient of and witnessed quite a few public displays of racist and xenophobic emotion, I can tell you that people communicate a lot more than just with their words. Now before sturg33 starts saying "Now our facial expressions and body language are also under attack", I can easily see how a person who has long felt victimized by racial discrimination could exaggerate one small incident. You get sensitive to it and you start to see it everywhere.
I think that's happening on both sides. Why else would anyone post this? Is it supposed to be an example that black outrage of racism is unfounded??? A black family trying to have a picnic in a park had a gun drawn on them by a lunatic racist white woman who has no business even owning a gun.
Until I see white folks swinging from trees and their golf courses being burned down I'm not convinced of anything. How many white people get away with racial bullying everyday? I'm guessing there are dozens, hundreds of unreported ugly incidents a day. Convince me I wrong.
Having been in several interracial relationships, it's pretty obvious that racists can speak just as loudly with their eyes and body language. I've been in several situations where we clearly were not welcome, but no words had to be said to get that point across.
I've seen it enough to know the difference between people curiously staring/people watching and when it crosses into the territory of racism/prejudice looks.

But if you think that type of subtle racism doesn't exist then you are really really obtuse. And just like Trump lowers the bar for what's shocking news everyday, you continue to lower the bar on what you'll actually defend.

No, it's not a crime, just insensitive, clannish behavior. People do it all the time and not only over race. It takes some work to be a decent person.
If everyone went around projecting their every negative thought basic civility would be gone in a hurry.

The accused guy shows up to her press conference to call bull ****... The elected official then walks everything back.
Maybe if the media would stop jumping all over any opportunity to tie racism to Trump, we could actually focus on REAL racism

Having experienced life as a relatively privileged white guy, I’ve been aware of particular situations that I experience differently. I’ve talked my way out of police situations, I’ve gotten deferential treatment in places where others might not, etc. I have no idea what it’s like to experience life in any skin other than my own… but because my family is multiracial, I have a tiny bit of insight into what it can be like, if only vicariously. Watching other people watch my brown kids versus my other kids is instructive. As I alluded to in another post, my two oldest daughters are pretty close in age. One of them all too frequently gets extra scrutiny or gets the stink eye from people, the other one doesn’t. I’ll leave it to you guys to guess which is which. Hell, it happened just a couple of weeks ago. We were seated outside at a restaurant, and I was at a table with my youngest daughter, dealing with a potty accident. My son and oldest daughter were at another table, doing their own thing. Some rando lady came outside and asked them what they were doing there, if they were customers, were their parents there, etc. I just politely stepped in and said those are my kids, nobody else is out here, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be sitting at that table. She didn’t say **** to me—because, what could she say, really?—but she looked...I dunno, not embarrassed? Pissed, really, that her weird flex had gotten interrupted. Some people act out that way, and don’t use racial slurs and don’t cross those red lines, but still make their intentions and feelings obvious. Acting like that **** doesn’t happen, every day, as a matter of course, is just silly.

Yeah, who wants freedom. Lets gets a socialist in power that censors anyone who doesnt fall in line and then take economic liberties from those of us that make good decisions.
Is the rebuttal here implying that modern socialism is not a largely Western concept?
