Breaking News - Donal Trump is a liar and his campaign has been repeatedly in contact with Russian Intelligence Officers. No one in the world is the least bit surprised.

I had somewhat the same thought, not on the shadow state angle, but on the angle that Bannon wants to be "king" of the staff. Like him or not (I don't), I think Bannon has a pretty long agenda of how he thinks the world should work. I'm not a conspiracy buff, but he is almost inviting me to join the Tinfoil Hat Club.

I find it hard to believe that a gay Jew would hate muslims. They treat not only gays but Jews very well in the Middle East.

Well, right now it's not even that. Sure, it LOOKS horrible--I mean really, stunningly bad--but so far there isn't an actual crime being posited.

If--and it's a yuge IF--either of those guys (or Page, or Stone, or anyone else) actually gets a criminal charge relating to collusion with Russia, it will doom his presidency. It's another consequence of his conduct. He lies so routinely that no one will believe him, and he's stepped on so many toes in his own party that they're probably jostling in line to have their Joseph Welch moment.
 
What we do know is this never ending assault by those who dislike Trump will not stop. Not only is the country divided by specific agencies are highly polarized now. What a weird time in our history

That by itself would not be a big deal. He had the world handed to him on a platter and these missteps are entirely of his own making. If this brings him down he's got no one to blame but himself, though I'm sure he'll never stop blaming others for his faults and mistakes.

I would agree trump is his own worst enemy but let's not act like these things that the media is going crazy over haven't happened countless times in prior administrations.

For reference for the uninitiated, a DP or designated player are usually quite good. MLS allows each team 3 designated players who can make more than the maximum salary (something like 400K) and are typically paid over a million dollars, some as high as 5-7 million depending on draw or skill.

Do you mean that other administrations clumsily broke The Logan Act then had the VP elect go on TV and lie about it? Or do you mean that other Presidents were elected with the help of a foreign govt while basically bragging about it the whole time?
 
It's a horrible dilemma for the government to be in - the sitting President is apparently guilty of numerous impeachable offenses. The question here is not whether Trump is guilty, but what to do about it.
