I dont have the time atm to lool up the program specifics but just because a program sounds good doesnt mean its helping or effective. Maybe that doesnt apply to this program but for one example I used to manage HUD houses and watched teens with no job or making minimum wage purposely have a kid to get on HUD. They even already had a hime with their parents on HUD but no they wanted their own home.

As far as I know having a job is a requirment to get HUD and there is no way to determine everyones guilt but please explain to me why we should take money from responsible people to pay for people who have 3 kids by the time they are 20? Kids arent a preexisting condition. I can maybe understand 1 mistake as I am not for abortion but after 1 kid you cant pay for they lose my sympathy.
When we subsidize irresponsible behavior it leads to more people doing it. I am a big believer that the welfare state we have created is one one of the worst things to ever happen to the black community.
