BREAKING: Trump lawyer: Tax returns from past 10 years show no "income of any type from Russian sources," with few exceptions.

i so believe him

it isn't like he is a liar or anything

I wonder what the left's reaction would be if Trump decided to champion gun control.

not that it matters if he said something or not cause he lies all the time

but he said his healthcare plan will give the best healthcare to everyone

and we see that wasn't even close to being true with what just passed the house

but i would love for him to come out for that. i have said, if he did just a fraction of the things he said he would do he could win over people that hated him

but it's like he is determined to be the mindless piece of **** we all knew him to be

Yeah, that looks pretty ironclad. No wiggle room there. OK, subject over! Move on, please.

Incidentally, that's the same tax attorney who did a presser in front of a huge stack of binders, which were somehow used a props to suggest that Donald Trump had set up blind trust that put him at an ethically-defensible arms-length from his company. [cue Arrested Development narrator to say "He hadn't."]

The lawyers who claim Trump received no income from Russia work at the 2016 Russia Law Firm of the Year
12:51 p.m. ET

President Trump's lawyers released a letter Friday concluding that Trump received no "income of any type from Russian sources" based on a review of his tax returns, which the lawyers did not release. Thus, aside from the exceptions the lawyers noted (the 2013 Miss Universe pageant, a property sold to a billionaire for $95 million), we have to take their word for it.

One last thought, though: The law firm that confirmed Trump's limited business interests in Russia was named "Russia Law Firm of the Year" in 2016.

This is not the only work Morgan, Lewis & Bockius have done for the president: The law firm has also been helping advise Trump on potential business conflicts of interest. Okay

James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!

Since the Comey camp is already telling tales, I think we know all we need to know about that threat.

That's the nature of these things. But it is actually ... something.

On the other hand, what Eric Trump purportedly said on a golf course 4 years ago is much more compelling.

Having worked at bigtime country clubs the last 8 years... I've probably heard the expression "If you want to get to know someone, play a few rounds of golf with them". Perhaps what he said on the golf course was just him relaxed and letting loose?

I personally subscribe to the, "If you want to get to know someone, get them drunk" philosophy.

Welp, on these country club courses there's plenty of alcohol, weed, and coke to go around with the money thrown away. I've seen some really hilarious stuff, so wouldn't surprise me at all if it was both.

Well, I'm not going to suggest that it is.

So, this is . . . something. I'd just rather see the returns...and a reasonable accounting of the beneficial ownership of LLCs and shell companies that are buying and selling.

So you think Garland would turn it down?

I have no idea. Trump's behavior makes it less likely, IMO, that the straight-shooting civil servant types will have anything to do with his crowd. Putting the just-fired FBI Director on Twitter blast is just the most recent example.

Orange douche taking credit for Obama policy with China and calls it real news

And refuses to admit one way or the other that he recorded conversations with comey
