The Trump Presidency

Yes - all you will need is a ladder to get over a state of the art wall.

The Wall will be a one time expense while renegotiation of NAFTA will have a recurring impact.

Yes - a state of the wall is a one time expense with no maintenance expenses at all.

" Trump was reportedly angry that John Kelly told congressional Democrats that Trump’s views on his signature border wall had been “uninformed.”

Recall the history.

Trump originally decided to let Dreamers stay but use them to get more concessions.

Trump asked for bipartisan deal doing that.

Trump was given what he asked for.

Trump rejected it b/c it wasn't sufficiently white nationalist.

I think fortune 500 companies and Ivy League schools should just start hiring/admitting people without any consideration to their skills/knowledge. What did you say? That doesn't make any sense? Yeah, I agree.

Something something Flint something something Puerto Rico something something deplorables.

57 manages to blame Trump for breaking wall promise and duping supporters while also blaming Trump for trying to get Wall done

Easy to win arguments when you get to bitch about both sides

I would assume he's ribbing Trump supporters regarding the wall not being built, not complaining.

Sure... but then he uses as justification for Trump breaking promises and shouldn't be promised... that his supporters were duped, etc

Can't have it both ways

Eh, I feel like there's an argument to be made that the wall was both a dumb idea and a promise Trump couldn't keep to his base. They don't seem to be mutually exclusive.

It's not like we're just blindly going off her word. She was also given a large sum of money by Trump's lawyer last year. It's pretty obvious they didn't just pay her for no reason. I don't personally give a ****, but it makes for another fun set of mental gymnastics for Evangelicals to support him.

I mean he had his supporters repeating lines at all his rallies.

He'd say what are we gonna build? The audience would shout THE WALL. He'd ask and who's gonna pay for it? They'd shout MEXICO. Then he'd ask how tall is it gonna be and they'd shout something else. So just looks hilarious that no he's not getting Mexico to pay for it and he's using our dime. And not only that, if he somehow does get it he'll have had to compromise on DACA, something he championed on destroying and something all those supporters who turn out to his rallies are against.

So we can't actually have the argument yet, can we?

My argument was meant to be contingent upon there being no wall built, given the entire point of Sturg's issue with 57. Sturg was arguing 57 can't both call Trump a liar for there not being a wall and also argue that the wall being built would be an issue. I disagree with those being contradictory.

Sturg's point is that 57 constantly mocks the air about Trump not being able to build a wall ... and now that Trump is preparing to build the wall (nullifying 57's original position), 57's argument has metamorphosed to post-not-being-able-to-build-wall-despite-previous-claims mockery.

Sturg voted for Gary Johnson.
He should have been banned from conversation and forced to read only for at least a week for being so feeble minded.
I digress

There ain't no wall - and, Mexico ain't payin for no wall
