The Trump Presidency

Trump's wisest advisor: "Mr. President, this move may seem to help you in the short run, but in the long run, who knows. It will likely hurt the country and the institution of law in general."

Trump: "Okay. Got it."

30 minutes later

Trump: "Let's do it.

trump's america.
a man more honorable who has sacrificed far more for our country than trump could ever dream.

Sure...let this man do crimes with no ramificiation. Great idea.

While we are at it, let's look at these gems. I mean they should get to stay as well right?

The left is a joke. Thankfully we have adults running the country and more importantly the economy.

thought you were a Libertarian ?

told you you were a Trumpian

now you too are reduced to proping up an (another) empty suit that lies to you and you soak it up

Rassmussen had Mitt Romney winning in 2012 in a landslide causing Karl Rove to have an anuerysm and propelling Megan Kelly to the big desk.

Of curse Rassmussen has Trump at 49%.

I wouldn't brag about a 35% strongly approve though.

Those 35% still think Sadaaam Hussein was behind 9/11

I'm disappointed in you Grasshopper

Lol I literally posted a tweet of information without comment.

I will not be voting for Trump. I outlined many things that disgustwd me from his SOTU address (I know that you are incapable of living in a world not completely partisan)

But I will say he has pleasantly surprised me from the disaster I expected.and he has blown away his predecessors thus far

Even better, you explained your positions on those things and were able to disagree about them in an amicable way.

‘Aha!’ Shouts Devin Nunes Pulling Back Shower Curtain In Hopes Of Revealing Hidden FBI Agent

WASHINGTON—Tiptoeing across the floor of his bathroom in stockinged feet to quiet his approach, California Representative Devin Nunes reportedly shouted, “Aha!” Thursday before pulling back a shower curtain in the hopes of revealing a hidden FBI agent. “You thought you could hide from me,” the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee screamed into the empty bathtub before cursing softly, diving to the floor, and rolling down the hallway to the kitchen where he proceeded to yank open cabinet doors, the refrigerator, and the oven’s broiler drawer while attempting to find a FBI agent concealed inside. “The jig is up! I’ve got you bastards now!”At press time, a bleary-eyed Nunes was frantically tearing all the stuffing out of his couch cushions in an unsuccessful attempt to locate an FBI surveillance van.

wow

a bump after a state of the union address

that never happens

Where is the smiley face that rolls around?

PRINCETON, NJ -- As Barack Obama prepares to give his first State of the Union address as president, a review of Gallup historical data suggests these speeches rarely affect a president's public standing in a meaningful way, despite the amount of attention they receive. Among recent presidents, only Bill Clinton seemed to reap a public-opinion benefit from the yearly ritual, with an average 3 percentage-point increase across his seven State of the Union speeches.

*cough* research

*cough* echo chamber

It's pretty funny that you ****-talk the importance of approval polling when trump's in the 30s, then tout it when it improves.

I think approval ratings are virtually useless (because did anybody ask you, or me -- better yet, has anybody on this board ever been polled?) and that has always been my take irrespective of how the numbers tally up.

But a 10-point jump is really impressive for a guy who by virtually all popular portrayals is overwhelmingly embattled, senile, cheated on his brand newly minted baby mama, and watches a special Gorilla channel.
