The Trump Presidency

The very least they could do is chip in for these millions in 'street repairs' that nobody has accounted for.

I feel like the reason 57 overplays the "hacked by Russia" card so earnestly is because he spends a majority of his day trapped in a Russian Twitterbot bukkake.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Annual Parade: ~$12MM

1991 Gulf Victory Parade: $8 million ($5 million from private donations) -- adjust for inflation

Gulf Victory Parade in NYC: $8.5 million (entirely raised from private donors) -- adjust for inflation

As you were.
I think the American military could probably use more group precision training, meaning, they ain't gonna like this.

You could bring in the ROTC, which I believe mostly practices marching, and some local National Guards, which doesn't, to beef up the total numbers. Strength in numbers! Blackwater type mercenaries should get a high profile position in the order. Black sites and secret torture prisons, too. Don't want to leave any important players out.

Trump himself could march, if he's gotten over his bone spurs. Actually, the whole idea doesn't strike me as being the worst thing that could happen under this POTUS, but it IS a lot of money and effort to waste on one man's ego.

And best of all, it takes the Russian Investigation out of the news. Trump is still dictating the media conversation. In that since, he's already a Dictator.

I take it you voted for Trump -- tell me, with that vote did you think you would ever see the day he would order a military parade in his honor !!

Ala some Queens Kim Jong Un wannabe

This is off of the "stupid" chart .

.......................................................................

That $17.2M doesn't include repairs DC streets will require because that would be a local issue

Because lke everything else this administration does , they don't think past their noses

I voted reluctantly for Hilary Clinton because I distrust Trump, don’t like his populist policies, and find him deplorable. He’s pleasantly surprised me with some of his conservative legislation policies and repulsed me with his behavior and populist policies.

I look forward to you holding your own party accountable.

If you support anything about Trump, then you support everything about Trump... didn't ya know?

he has had one --- count them -- one --- legislative policy.

That is proving to be a knee jerk irresponsible give away to the donor class

I hold politicians accountable with my vote.

"In the “old days,” when good news was reported, the Stock Market would go up. Today, when good news is reported, the Stock Market goes down. Big mistake, and we have so much good (great) news about the economy!"

lol

So we've got one campaign manager indicted for money laundering, another fired on the campaign trail after assaulting a Breitbart reporter, a third now on the outs with the WH. One comms director quit, one flamed out spectacularly in 11 days, the third is being scrutinized in an obstruction investigation. The NSA pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. On one hand, Kelly, whatever his flaws, at least got a lot of the grifters and weirdoes (Gorka, Omarosa) out...but, damn. The guy he goes to bat for is a serial woman-abuser.

As the multi-million-dollar-fraud-suit-settler and porn-star-payoff chief might say: folks, these are not good people.

A top official at the Department of Homeland Security confirmed on Wednesday that Russia did indeed "successfully" hack voting rolls in a small number of states. NBC writes:

In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Jeanette Manfra, the head of cybersecurity

at the Department of Homeland Security, said she couldn't talk about classified information publicly,

but in 2016, "We saw a targeting of 21 states and an exceptionally

small number of them were actually successfully penetrated."

I blame the President. That is where the buck is supposed to stop, right?
