The Trump Presidency

there are charts and data.

I don't think you read the article ! It speaks to a broad shift in aspects of the 1st amendment under the Roberts court . Not merely allowing some yahooo rabble rouse
at Berkley.

Citizen United at the base of the contention ?

" The Roberts court does more than hear a larger proportion of cases concerning conservative expression. It is also far more likely than earlier courts to rule for conservative speech than for liberal speech. The result, the study found, has been “a fundamental transformation of the court’s free-expression agenda.”

Scott Pruitt using a secret schedule to hide meetings he did not want public which is a violation of federal law. Surely Jeff Sessions and his commitment to enforcing federal laws will be all over this....

Remarkable numbers on Republican voters:

67% want Trump to nominate someone who will limit the money corporations and unions can spend on political campaigns.

41% said they want Trump to nominate someone who will keep abortion legal.

lmao. are they still completely blind as to who they voted for..?

he's wealthy and white so if you think about it that way the same laws don't apply to him.
talk about draining the swamp........

my favorite lies that really don't have any consequences to real life is when that dumbass tries to get people to believe that he is like really smart

We should have selected a better candidate than Hillary.

We have a moron in office because the Dems was beholden to the "establishment".

Rinse and repeat.

the GOP also had a dozen or so better candidates

No doubt, but while I feel the same way about Trump as most of you, ask yourself this, would you REALLY have preferred:
Lyin' Ted Cruz?
Little Marco Rubio?
Low energy Jeb "yet another" Bush
POS Scott Walker? Need I say more? The worst of the worst, IMO
Dr. Ben "I'm a nice guy but do we really want to vote for a president who doesn't believe the Egyptians really built the pyramids" Carson?

John Kasich "somewhat flawed but when you honestly compare him to the other names mentioned in this post....plus he had the courage of his convictions to tell Trump to eff off when he was offered the VP gig that Pence couldn't gobble up fast enough.

Bernie Sanders, who has said and advocated some things I agree with other the years, and then said some dumb stuff that made me cringe as well

Hilldog couldn't even trust the Dem voting base to pick her over a "niche candidate" who would normally have garnered 15%-20% of the delegates tops without rigging the Dem side of the primary, which her people definitely did?

So, when people tell you they "picked who they felt was the lesser of 2 evils in Nov. 2016, what they should have said was they picked the lesser of a whole gaggle of evils. Sure Trump is THAT BAD, but what about most of these others? This is just the point we have gotten to as a nation and it isn't a good point

... and it isn't a good point

Name any of the other "gaggle" of candidates that would have

a) got us into the self inflicted immigration mess we find ourselves
b) picked a fight with Canada
c) alienated the entire world sans N Korea
d) abandoned Puerto Rico

or even
e) as the evidence mounts -- on the block for colluding with a foreign entity to taint an election

in your quest for the perfect you completely miss the good
just like they wanted you to

even if you don't want to see impeachment --- it is your responsibility to vote to at least keep this wannabe in check
No, there are only two choices

Yes, I REALLY would have preferred Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio or any of the other Reps.

Are you really going to use those silly Trump nicknames into perpetuity? Let's not forget that he is THE liar and more CROOKED than anyone.
