I think today's actions are justified.

If you're throwing rocks at me, you're threatening my life. I asked you what you would have them do, and you didn't answer me

But I put the link there for context and to laugh when you go on a "Trump is fine with gassing children. Obama was amazing!"
 
a) Please show where I ever said Obama is amazing on anything least of all immigration

b) this was avoidable

c) it is never justified gassing defenseless women and children

yes, it was avoidable.
We have known for weeks people were coming here seeking asylum. What have we done?
Militarize the border ? after using refugees as political props
--- perhaps exercise the tools of soft power to diplomatically avoid situations like today ? Perhaps set up camps or worked to divert or possibly intervene in Honduran politics to avoid this and future migrations
And with the knowledge that this happened 4-5 years ago, what precautions were in place to avoid today's events?

I certainly hope that behind the scenes there was dialogue. With this mornings revelation that Trump lied about Mexican cooperation I seriously doubt it.

I'll ask again... Maybe you'll answer, what should have happened today on 11/25 when the caravan crowd rushed the border and used rocks to attack agents?

I would have them stand their ground and not engage. Any serious military man would do the same. Kid throwing rocks??? Are you for real???
