The Trump Presidency

Yeah, how about globally ?

Was it Muslims who invaded USSR in the early 80;s or Iraq in the early aughts ?

Was it muslims that voluteered to cut up the Ottomaon Empire to suit Churchill aim the control the seas early 20th century ?

Was it Muslims that invaded England in the 13-14-15th centuries to convert the non believers ?

So yeah, what about globally ?

These people are fighting back

Newtons 3rd Law

Context my friend, context

My next thought is Muslim-Americans came here to get out of the fight

Great. We've made mistakes in the past so we should diminish the global threat to the free world. And that is part of why the liberals/democrats were rejected on the 8th.

No not in the least.

But at least make an effort to understand the source.
This war on the other side of the globe has been raging since the 13th century, if not longer.

Comparisons to the Global problem and the existential threat posed in the US are very very narrow. If even existant

Serving only one purpose
Getting the peoples of Northern Michigan to vote for someone avowed to ending the regulations of the New Deal

Bigger fish? There is no fish.

Trump has played a false and misleading game with Ford as a talking point for months.

Why would we assume that being president-elect would inspire him to do anything differently?

So Ford had no stated plans to relocate Lincoln production--had in fact announced further investment there, but Trump is taking credit for their not moving it to Mexico?

In other news, I'd like to personally take credit for the Atlanta Braves not relocating to Jalisco.

It certainly would be quite a large fish if Trump were able to persuade Ford (by means of a tariff, for example) not move production/plants/jobs to Mexico.

In a statement on Thursday night, following Trump's tweet, the company said it had told Trump it would cancel a plan to shift production of a single model — the MKC — from Kentucky to Mexico. The company last year indicated it would be moving MKC production out of Louisville, though it did not announce where it was going.

So, yeah, that's a fish to me. A guppy - sure - but a positive signal all the same.

I definitely find Trump's tweet to be misleading, but his desire to keep American jobs in America isn't false.

Now rumors of Rick Perry for energy?

Man he's really toying with all the Pubs that talked ill of him. What's next, McCain for Veteran Affairs and Graham for Defense?

Bannon is closer to Bernie than any conservative when it comes to the economy. Talking about economic nationalism, railing against the elites and a trillion dollar infrastructure plan.

I honestly think Carson saw what was going on and decided not to be a token cabinet pick to "balance" the alt-right selections so Trump can show people "see we're not racist!"

For all the flack Bush got at least he had a diverse cabinet. Two black Sec of State. Asian transportation sec. Hispanic Attorney General.

Trump choosing Sessions for AG is a step in the wrong direction

you had 2 choices and your choice led to Sessions

Now you think Trump goes " a step in the wrong direction"

Jeff Sessions opposed the Voting Rights Act & has voted against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act

Your disagreement is hollow

In case you forget

In July, Schneiderman said of the Trump University scandal, "Using false promises to prey on desperate people

has long been a hallmark of 'snake-oil salesmen.' A lawsuit by my

office alleges that Donald Trump was basically doing the same thing with Trump University."

“I don’t characterize that as sexual assault,” Sessions told The Weekly Standard in the spin room after Sunday night’s presidential debate. “I think that’s a stretch. I don’t know what he meant.”

“So if you grab a woman by the genitals, that’s not sexual assault?” the reporter asked Sessions.

“I don’t know,” the senator replied. “It’s not clear that he — how that would occur.”

You claim to have understood what this guy was and selfishly didn't stop him.

Like I said, your criticisms ring hollow .

Has your silly little protest vote registered yet ?

I don't agree with Carson on much and don't particularly admire him, but he was very influential in mobilizing the socially conservative vote for Trump. I see him as becoming a high profile religious leader who will have a ton of political influence.
