The Trump Presidency

Trump says no tapes.

I'm starting to think there might actually be tapes now. His tweets were bizarre. The most vague and PC tweets he's had yet. Usually he's very concrete and adamant in his statements within in his tweets. But he started using phrases like "as far as I know there are no tapes". Big 180 from his usual tweets. I wonder if one of his advisors or lawyers finally got into that egotistic head and said stop f'ing around before you back yourself into a bigger corner. He bluffed. Comey called his bluff under oath.

If there are tapes then congress could subpeona or Mueller could get a judges authorization to view. If there aren't then he's set himself up for witness intimidation.

Smart move to deny. Temporarily stops the bleeding. I fully expected him to keep dragging out the tapes thing with Comey. He's gone very very silent on the Yuge Obama wiretapping accusations.

I assume EVERYTHING related to the investigation is being run through both the WH counsel and private legal team at this point.

Why is Obama not held accountable for knowing that Putin wanted to and was trying to hack into the voting system?

Should the president had done something to prevent this?

The story that the media conveniently passes over.

The defining image of Trump's Presidency.

I agree he should have done something and thought so at the time.

Why wouldn't the DNC give the servers to the FBI? Why we're instruments destroyed by the Clinton campaign? This notion that trumps campaign was an evil orgianzaition while the Clintons and DNC were squeaky clean is another creation by the MSM to hoodwink the American public.

When obstruction is dismissued what is the next awful horrible no good thing that Trump did.?

Haven't you heard? He's talking Medicare and Medicaid from the sick and poor.

I'm reasonably sure Trump wouldn't have reached 270 if he openly campaigned on taking Medicaid from 14+ million people.

who knew ?

As has already been stated I think it's much more Ryan, McConnell and company than Trump but what do you think at least 13.7 of those 14 million (assuming this is an accurate number) would have just assumed ALL 14 million would have been 14 million OTHER people. It's the same as when Hannity, Limbaugh and company talk about the takers and lowlifes that need to be made to earn their own way, and so on, most of their minions are positive it's other takers and lowlifes they're talking about, not them. Just saying...

The ACA subsidizes the poor (through the Medicaid expansion) and the middle class (those who have significant HC needs). So...yeah. Why shouldn't those folks be able to access affordable health care? Why should we take it back?

Let's not forget a lot of States blocked Medicaid expansion. Georgia took it even further when Deal not only blocked if he told the State Assembly to pass a law removing his power to accept it and leave it up to the Assembly.

The Medicaid expansion was supposed to fill in the gaps. Poor people who could ifinally afford subsidized cheap health insurance on the exchange suddenly started using it instead of gambling on not getting sick and it cut into profits of Anthem and Aetna. People with pre-existing conditions were afforded cheaper and subsidized plans and were using it. No surprise the more the services are used the less profit for the insurance companies.
