The Trump Presidency

Love how he tweeted out his trans ban (an hour after a fox news story on it, lol), and pretty much everyone was like "uh, no dude." And he just gave up. Also the senate treating him like a child. It's funny until you realize he's the "president."

With his profanity and crude insults, his threats of violence against opponents and his insults of the disabled, women and prisoners of war, President Donald Trump has contributed much to the coarsening of American society and politics.

Everyone here knows if the economy was tanking right now you would be blaming it on Obama and saying a president cant be held accountable for the economy when he has just taken office.

But that reality doesn't exist and there have been countless articles written that the economy is responding to cutting regulations and what is expected to be tax reform.

What new direction taken by this administration has negatively impacted the lives of American citizens?

Another great jobs report.

Pro-Business policies are what this country needs.

Also important to note that last months jobs report was revised UPWARD by 9k jobs to 231K.

I'm cool with instituting some socially liberal policies but why don't people see that a pro-business agenda needs to be the norm for our government?

The reality does exist. Did you blame Clinton or Bush for the economy failings between inauguration and 9/11?

I was not even close to same person during those times. I'm 33 years old and I'm a CPA now.

It would have been stupid of me to comment on economic matters during those times.

I will make you self aware one of these days thethe.

You are trying to say that I'm only talking positively about the government because someone who ran as an (R) is in office.

I am using objective facts that the pro-business policies are what is driving the economic engine right now.

Fair.

Got anything else?

Because reading this board you'd think we have been invaded and taken over by Russia

We haven't been. I think it's a fair criticism that Trump has been soft on Putin, but nothing that has been done in his presidency has really aided Russia, short of maybe legitimizing their efforts to influence our election process.

I'm also not a fan of how emboldened ICE seems to be when it comes to detaining or deporting non-violent undocumented immigrants and us pulling out of the Paris agreement. I understand that the Paris deal wasn't perfect, but was a step in the right direction.
