Her show was basically an arm of the Obama campaign for 8 years. What more do you need to know?
No. She’ll get the same number of black voters as obama did and she’ll get more women voters than Hillary did. She’ll have more media behind her than Hillary did the summer before the election

The minority vote will make it difficult for sure. I'm still of the belief that minorities are going to start to see their lives significantly improve economically and that is going to change a lot of their minds.
We will see how strong identify politics are for sure.
But don't you see - Oprah does have experience because she ran a business unlike Trump...oh wait.

Winfrey's speech was widely praised with some calling 'it one of the greatest American speeches' as others urged her to make a run for President in 2020.
That's an actual quote from a newspaper article. People believe she should be president because they like a speech she made. That is the level of political intelligence we have in this country.

Short of a Roy Moore type of meltdown, a black Democrat running for president, any black Democrat, is unbeatable. And we all know that the media will not be digging as hard to find dirt on a Booker or Harris as they do for Moore or Chris Christie.

Maybe I’m just naive, but I would think that of any celebrity, Oprah would be the most qualified to run as president.
She’s ran a massive, successful business for decades. She’s demonstrated that she’s empathetic and able to relate with people from all walks of life. She’s very smart. She’s eminently likeable. The qualifications go on and on and one.
I may ultimately not agree with her politics, but I understand why Democrats are throwing their support behind her. If she ran, she would win.
The only thing I don’t understand is why she would want to run.
