I would think every briefing is essential. Its saying whether all the content in the briefing is essential. Details are for the departments that are on the ground. Higher level review is for the chiefs.

I think the guy's said some pretty ****ty things. But I'm a child of divorce (as is my wife) and know how painful and difficult it is. From what I've read, his wife hated politics and the increased publicity had put a strain on the marriage. I hope the best for their children.
