Not once have I doubted this. I just don't see some massive undertaking to censor Republicans on Twitter, especially given how much **** is on Twitter about it. Why would you spend so much time silencing certain voices but just leave as much as they do?

It's worth noting that, by all accounts of former U.S. Attorneys, the process to obtain a warrant to search the office of an attorney is especially arduous. Former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Miriam Rocah told MSNBC that convincing a federal judge to approve such a warrant would require "many extra layers” and, at a base level, that judge would have to find probable cause that at least one or more crimes were committed at the location being searched.

The FBI reportedly seized financial records, emails, tax documents and business records. Some of the information will likely be deemed privileged communication between Cohen and his clients, but anything related to criminal activity loses the veil of attorney-client privilege.

But is Cohen the subject or the target of an investigation? Enquiring minds want to know.

my reading says this has nothing to do with Mueller Investigation / election interference / "collusion"
Something they (Muellers team) came across, then through proper channels the Justice Department referred it to the Sates Attorney
Garden variety corruption at it's core.

Am I reading that right ?

was a fig leaf. Both sources say that this has crossed the "red line" that Trump laid out for Mueller

going outside his purview in intvw w @nytmike @peterbakernyt and me last July

has pleaded guilty to lying; and 2 ex-campaign aides are cooperating with Mr. Mueller.


So Anderson Cooper just asked David Gergen if Trump has any choice but to bomb Syria and he basically said "no." Again, no mention of the fact that such an attack would be illegal
