The Trump Presidency

Poor man. Keeps fumbling over his words over and over. So much incoherence. The only time he sounds remotely clear in his thoughts is when it's time to go back to the whataboutism to Obama.

Keeps coming back to that -- and why the people that voted for him excused this --- and what we should do , not about Trump, but the people that allowed this !!!!!
In another time and place Donald Rumsfeld called people of that ilk "dead enders"
3 years ago he promised their release

Keith Olbermann was reporting just that and opined in the summer of 2016 Trump was losing it --
just sayin'.

People shrugged and said "oh Olbermann" but know what? he has been right . Over and over and over

Funny to me how the people that constantly read these things wrong dismiss the people that consistently get these things right.
Repeat Hannity but roll their eyes at Maddow .
funny

Maddow was reporting in August 2016 Manaforts connections to Russians. People thought it funny and (excuse me while I clear my throat) partisan

He says “campaign” like AI said “practice.”

Seriously, though, dude is not ok. He seems to not understand the actual substance of the allegation. He can’t even manage a friendly interview. I cannot imagine the consequences of his sitting down with investigators.

Also, to repeat: “I found out about it later” is a lie.

You can look that up.

That sorta fits Trump's MO ---- too

are you...are you serious? it's the tiniest increase. there was a *larger* increase from 2008 to 2009 and 2010 to 2012 - was it because obama was trying to bring back coal, and telling coal miners he was bringing back coal? or does that just happen, with the overall trend still being downward and a hopeless industry?

trump isn't doing **** for coal miners. because there's nothing one can do. surely you know this.

I'm not the one who posted a chart claiming "blatant lies" when the chart itself shows the opposite

I don't care about coal.

To be clear... while this is obviously breaking a law, it is not something that affects anyone in this country.

We knew he was a slime ball. We knew he paid off the porn star... but we're supposed to be outraged that it came from the campaign?

I mean sure - it's an opportunity to charge him with a crime and I don't blame you for doing it... but it doesn't change the substance of what actually happened and it doesn't affect anyone.

I'd be much more concerned if Trump was a Putin puppet, but nobody seems to be able to prove that one

Vincent Gigante, aka "Chin". A legend in NY mafia lore, where Trump apparently learned his whole schtick. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn that he let some of Chin's story creep into his act. But I think it's more likely that he's just losing it. His poor vocabulary and repetitive thought process is inadequate for this 5 alarm fire he finds himself in.

FWIW, and probably not much, but Omarosa says over and over in her book that Trump is not well and that she first noticed it in the Holt interview. Said that Trump would tell the same stories for days to everyone he met with. Told the story of "dropping the mother of all bombs" over chocolate cake with the Chinese guy for weeks.

That is very curious. How does one start a donation fund???

Buried in a Manafort article, I found it interesting that even a guy who wears $25,000 suits has trouble paying healthcare bills.

Prosecutors showed that Manafort had lost his golden goose in 2014 when his main client since 2006, former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, fled into exile in Russia. By 2016, Manafort's consulting firm was losing money and Manafort was scrambling to pay his health insurance bills, one of his accountants testified.

Meaning... the CEO of a major retail store says hes never seen a better consumer environment, despite the Armageddon of the tax cut.

I thought that was good news

Well it’s not. It’s better to have a horrible economy and a nice guy in the White House.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...am-from-winning-conviction-on-all-counts.html

This is the danger when you have Trump trying to influence cases through tweets and the media. People like this woman. Trump is trying to get as many jurors like this lady to "do the right thing" for him and not convict anyone in his circle so he can stay alive.

Jury nullification is a legitimate strategy but no judge I have ever seen has allowed the defense to argue for it.

I am shocked they allowed a trumptard on the jury. Would be just as insane as allowing an antifa member on the jury. I am really curious as to how jury selection went down. I cant imagine they didnt ask the relevant questiojs about bias and I cant fathom letting someone on a jury who would say they really want to find the dedendant innocent. Thats not to say people should be banned for voting for Trump or supporting Trump. Trumps tweets dont likely meet tampering because they have to prove the intent was to influence the jury.

I think this juror would be in some **** if she voted not guiltt on all charges. They probably wont persue that because they got enough meaningful convictions. Those charges I believe were declared a mistrial so they could do another trial if they wanted to.

yeah that argument went out the window with proclaiming himself the law and order president. Remember thr AG memo telling federal prosecutors to seek out the most serious and readily proveble charges? The President is a criminal. These law and order people need to be consistent or stfu.
