OMG!!! He just attacked CNN's Jim Acosta and NBC's Peter Alexander!!! I can't believe what I just saw. Press pool needs to stage a solidarity walkout!!!

Acosta got less than he deserved. He has done his best to make a spectacle of himself and he was successful at it again today. I think we all know he would have never continued if Obama had been behind the podium telling him that his question was over, but at this point I do put some of the blame on the Trump administration for continuing to give him access. Peter Alexander acted as a gentleman should and Trump was way out of line and just totally classless to go after him for it.

yeah, maybe someone should go to his office and shoot it up, or maybe just a simple body slam.

trump is "treated unfairly" because he lies constantly and reporters have to cover the constant lies. covering constant lying isn't "unfair." maybe he should try not lying every time his mouth opens. trump deserves to be grilled for what he says and does.

Your implication that I want the man to be shot is nearly as offensive as it is dishonest and stupid.

Every President lies. Trump lies more than most. Lots of good reporters grill politicians without grandstanding. Acosta is not a good reporter, or really even a reporter at all at this point.

what other president has ever trafficked in lies (and racist lies at that) like birtherism

Nothing wrong with Jim's work. Just like there is nothing wrong with Katy Tur's or anyone else that speaks or writes truth to power.

I think racist/sexist/homophobes is starting to lost its muster. Need to up the ante to rapist and murderer

I don't disagree with any of that. And yet, he (or his administration) has achieved more good for the middle class, minorities, job market, and judicial system in 2 years than the last 30 years of Presidents.

Yep... results on the field are there. Nobody likes to discuss them.

Trump would do so well for himself if he got off twitter and got stopped doing rallies. He is a liar and he seems to be pretty dumb. But the policies he has enacted (and for the most part, ended) has done so much better for everyone than previous admins

I suspect that if Mr. Acosta had been equally respectful to President Obama when he was lying about his healthcare plan, the Benghazi YouTube video, or Fast and Furious, we would have heard a different tune from several posters here.
