The Trump Presidency

The Continental Army… manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over airports, it did everything it had to do,” the president said.

Lest some people forget what an idiot our Commander in Chief is.

The left's reaction to this is silly. You have a 73 year old man reading a speech he didn't write, in the rain, off glass teleprompters covered with water. This is clearly a case of him misreading.

Just Google Obama teleprompter fails if you want to see the same kind of thing happen to him.

There are plenty of reasons to attack Trump. This is not one of them.

Yes, and no. Of course, I'm just having some fun with the harmless gaff that may or may no be bigger than Obama's 57/47 whopper. But with Trump there is a consistent and continuing narrative of a clueless man repeatedly embarrassing himself, the country and by extension, me. Even today, there is an article based on leaked comments from the British Ambassador about an inept leader who quite likely will end his term in disgrace. But this isn't really news.

Read this thread and you can see just how out of the mainstream the left is right now.

Trump is going to win in a landslide.

I mean, this is the most obvious thing here. To actually make a claim to not ask for citizenship is lunacy. Hope Trump goes through to overrule the absurd ruling.

Jesus - This looks terrible for the Democrats.

We need someone to pick up the torch that push the same policies as the current administration. We could be headed for a golden age in America where we reset all the damage the left has done the past 50 years.

Like I said, plenty of other things to attack him on. I just got tired of my Facebook feed being filled with people making a big deal about the slip up.

If we had a Presidential candidate who legitimately advocated for fiscal responsibility, I'd vote for him/her. I don't see any candidate doing that.

Give it time. Hard to unravel the welfare state the left created but its starting to happen.

Get illegals out of the country and focus on making Americans and legal immigrants more prosperous.

I dont see it as an attack on Trump as much as an attack on his voters, defenders and brothers in arms.

$3900

The party of the rule of law

Now has a president and his cult saying to literally defy the Supreme Court and the constitution

The thing about the Census question is that to include it would make the Census less accurate, which would seem to defeat the whole purpose of having a Census. That’s why it hasn’t flown in court. Now that the President has gone on record tying it to Congressional districting—in which citizenship is irrelevant, per the Constitution—that hill just got steeper.

So maybe you can tell me: what is the purpose of the question? If you were trying to collate accurate demographic information via survey, do you think that asking respondents to indicate, non-anonymously, if they’d committed a crime that warranted removal from the country would tend to make the accuracy of the survey better or worse?

In short, why is it “lunacy” to not include a question that would make the results less accurate?

We have discussed the constitutional interpretation at one point and i dont agree that it is applicable to the onslaught of illegal immigration that we find today. I understand your argument but i simply dont agree. What we are seeing now is nothing like when that case was heard in the SC.

Also, I am very much in favor of making California less powerful just because they make their state a safe haven for illegals. It stomps on the rights of Americans so I'm not going to shed a tear for under reported population numbers for California.
