The Trump Presidency

let it not be lost that in the past week posters not aligned with POTUS and his ilk have implored their opposite to disavow an Indian man wearing a t shirt with the face of a WWII Indian Nationalist.

Yet, when their POTUS demands US citizens of color to go "back to their country"
Their silence is deafening .

Or certain posters may have been enjoying the beach.

Now that I'm back, I suppose I could rationalize Trumps racism with "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

But I'm not that type of stupid.

Trump once again makes a fool of himself and gives Pelosi the tool she needs to move attention away from the racist freshmen congresswoman who are more interested in photo ops than solutions.

Don’t you those racist freshmen are more of a threat to Pelosi than Trump is to her?

57, why do you only find racism or hateful comments appalling when Trump makes them but when others on the left say them, you give them a pass?

I hope your beach-reading saw you bone up on the word "context" .
You are still arguing about an Indian man not siding with the British while, fighting the British for Independence over a form of Apartheid?

hope you didnt spend all of that $3900.

show me another politician the rank of Trump ever --- ever -- telling sitting duly appointed Congress members. Not member --- members - to go back to their country.
Or deciding a sitting judge unfit to try his case because of his ancestry.
He too was USA born

One does not have to find the racism --- which, par for the course, you miss

I was around 16 when I first heard a version of “go back to your country.”

A drunk white guy screaming at an elderly Filipino lady, saying all kinds of foul stuff.

Everyone at that bus stop told him to cut it out and he slinked away.

We have to be the people at the bus stop.

.................

I am encouraged by the people and the station of life of those people speaking out against the POTUS comments.
And actions

I've experienced it first hand grocery shopping with my parents. As an 8 year old, we're in Wal Mart buying groceries and my parents are debating in Tagalog (Filipino) of which vegetables to buy. 90's version of MAGA man comes up to us and tells my parents this is Murica speak English or go back to Mexico.

My parents speak better English than this guy despite being immigrants. English is a co-national language unofficially in Philippines. My parents just looked at him and continued on with shopping while I went back to playing my gameboy sitting in the shopping cart.

Pelosi was about to crush the freshman and take back control of the party. Thats not a good thing for Trump. The best thing that can happen is the further radicalization of the left.

Now supporters of AOC and Omar are rallying to them giving them more power within the party. They will continue to say stupid things and cost the Dems dearly.

So many people still dont see long term strategy. These are not random outbursts.

Oh my. All those years Pelosi was the wicked witch of the west and the right kept pushing her to be public enemy #1. The champion of san francisco liberalism aka socialism/communism/fascism.

Look at how far we've come.

She is still that but her brand/leadership yielding even worse and i hope they continue to speak.

this will be the 3rd time this has been brought up.
There will more than likely be a 4th

Recall that Trump said Judge Curiel, who was born in Indiana,

couldn't fairly judge his Trump University fraud case because

"He's a Mexican."

Trump believes that if you're not white,

you can never be a real American.

I would add the cowardly that excuse this behavior for a tax cut.
Or at least that is what they say
As if ...

Is it peer pressure or is it base bigotry that drives people to follow this filth ?
Like I said shortly after the election and even through the inquiry into Russia compromising the 2016 election.
I don't blame Trump.
I blame those that voted for him or worse, turned a blind eye

Trump is a jackass. Always has been and will be.

Some of us on this board are not cheerleaders for a letter next to a name. It’s not difficult.

Mine was mocking a disabled person
