You're assuming this is all there is. I'm guessing an impeachment trial will lay out ALL his lies and self-dealing and that could be quite an impelling display of corruption. Hopefully, Pelosi has a team putting together a big picture case.

Pretty sure we can summarize this episode fairly easily.

Very questionable judgement from the orange man... we all know he is a dummy. Not anything there to successfully impeach

Biden is done - the dems won't want his baggage from this and the media has paved the way for their darling - the lady who lied about her heritage to get ahead in life.

The media and dems will endlessly discuss Trump and Ukraine heading into election. It will be Russia 2.0... we should go ahead and get a head start on the thread.

The media/dems get a 2 for 1 with this story

I doesn't matter what the Senate does. This is going to play out in an election season and it all hinges on which way public opinion breaks. Pelosi should frame the impeachment as a public airing of all Trump's crimes, betrayals, lies and abuses, of which the list is long and varied. She should also mention Mitch McConnell, William Barr and all the others as often as possible because the GOP are Trump's enablers. They are joined at the hip to Trump and his abuses of power. She should put as much pressure on Senate Reps as possible starting today.

It was only half snarky. I thought you might be making a joke at people pretending to see nothing while looking squarely at a smoking gun.

Trump pressured a foreign leader to help his campaign. It's over. That's a serious crime. No one in their right mind expects Republican Senators to vote with integrity so removal from office isnt likely. The articles of impeachment are going to be the size of a book.

Oh. No it was a serious question and I think there is clearly no smoking gun. I think even democrats would admit that. A smoking gun would be Trump literally saying that he'd do something good for Ukraine in exchange for stuff on Hunter Biden.

For all the talk on the right about SJW they elected a professional victim. Wahhh the media wont report my lies aa facts. Wahhh someone is investigating my corruption. now it's proven he's tried to do it again. then he does it on camera yesterday for everyone to see. and we're told "so what?"

like, come on. how is asking a foreign president to get with your personal attorney and the COUNTRY'S, not trump's, AG to investigate an American citizen, your political rival, an OK thing to do? he tried to leverage bi-partisan aid and weapons sales for help. this is really acceptable behavior of a president? like, seriously?

and that's only what we know so far. obviously there's more than the white house decided to release. but this is bad enough, on it's own.
there's only one thing in the world this dumb**** is capable of caring about.

Think about this: the national security apparatus turned into an instrument for pursuing the political vendettas of the Chosen One. If that isn't an impeachable abuse of office what is.
