Still so amusing that people in DC who can afford to go to a world series game are the 'normal' people.
The same people shocked that HRC lost in 2016 did not learn a thing. They are going to be rocked at the 2020 election results.
I'm normal. I make less than 60k/year (still around 40% more than than the average salary in my area) and if the Braves made the WS, you bet your ass I'd have spent a week worth of pay to go to a game. Of course, I'm not taking my whole family. I'll go with my dad or a buddy.
Normal spend money on outlandish things all the time, it's only the type of things that are different. A bunch of people I went to high school with spend 20-30k on a new car every 3-4 years, whereas I have the same 12 year old truck that I've had for 9 years and I don't have a car payment. I know a guy that legitimately spends $100-$200 a week on lottery tickets. So yes, it absolutely normal people going to that game for the most part.
Not only that, but tix on 3rd party sites tend to be significantly cheaper. More like $500 a seat or less.
So these are normal people but Trump supporters are not?
Because this is effectively the argument being made by some.
A perfect example of why nobody can take any of you seriously

I would celebrate this, but I’m quite positive Robert Murray will come out of this with some exorbitant amount of money.
