This is nonsense. I've been posting here about China and its treatment of Uighurs and Tibetans a long time. Unlike a lot of people here, I didn't just discover China is a bad actor. But I am also a realist. China is too big and powerful to be put in a box. So we have to deal with them with eyes open. We can't have a president who goes around gushing what a great job Xi is doing, when in fact Xi is withholding information that could have saved a lot of lives.

And the gushing occurred after it was learned that China intentionally sabotaged us? That's a relatively new consensus. Well I mean, most of us that implied it was a from a lab in China early were "tin foil hat conspiracy theorists".
Obviously diplomacy calls for a tender hand until the line is crossed. I would say that blocking travel from China early was an indication that his instincts were that this thing was out of Xi's hands regardless. And it DID save A LOT of lives if you remember the models. And of course he was lambasted by Democrats as racist and xenophobic. They of course ran out into China town and filmed themselves hugging Chinese nationals. The same ones now anxious to tattle that their neighbors are playing in the yard without masks on.

No the gushing was AFTER quite a few intelligence briefings about what was happening in Wuhan. But his little joke of a "trade deal" was judged too important to jeopardize.

NOBODY has been tougher on China in decades. It's astounding that Trump can be critized for not being tough enough on China while being the toughest thing in Washinton on China for decades. And you people are anxious to run to the polls and flip a lever for Joe "China's the good guy" Biden. Astounding.

Whoever said I'm for Biden? I said I was a lifelong Republican before Trump... I never said I was a Democrat now. Still, if I'm picking the lesser of two evils, I'd probably pick Biden. But I will most likely do what I've done for the last 2 elections and vote 3rd party.

On a side note, I don't think Biden ever paid a porn star tons of money to keep her mouth shut.

But its a just a straw man... someone points out everything that is wrong about Trump and his supporters and all they ever get back is "But Biden... But Hillary... But Obama"

Those are not valid arguments and have nothing to do with Trump. There are sick people everywhere, that doesn't make Trump's behavior okay or justifiable
