The Trump Presidency

And yet it did not reveal anything we did not already know.

In 39 years I have never heard anyone refer to the devastating World Wars

which killed millions of people as "beautiful world wars"...until today.

Until Trump.

God Damn it

New Gallup poll on approval comes out tomorrow. Steady falling at 38% last month.

Will the trend continue or will the fossil brains hold tight? Any supporter of his must be getting significant pressure, whether they know it or not is another story.

39.7 or bust

The only voting block where OO still has a majority is uneducated white people.

1) Chad Wolf is an ex-lobbyist w/ no experience in law enforcement. He says it's "hyperbolic and offensive" to call unidentified people in military uniform now invading our cities & beating people with batons & grabbing & throwing them into unmarked vans, "thug stormtroopers."

2) You know what that means? It means we need to say it louder! Thug stormtroopers. Quasi-secret police. Unconstitutional overreach by a fascistic president. Military invaders. Agents of a tyrannous would-be dictator. (And they'll answer to the American people. Just give us time)

we were taking one of the last steps on the pathetic journey towards

forgetting what we are never supposed to forget."

I have a great questions for the media to give Trump

"During the campaign you famously said you were a very stable genius and had one of the greatest memories of all time. Recently you told Chris Wallace he couldnt aswer the last few questions on the cognitive test you took. Can you recite, describe, or recall one of those questions you think would be hard for Chris to answer"

There are some policy issues where I would rather creepy joe not reverse things very poorly chosen one has done.

One is the part of tax reform that did away with the SALT deduction. One of the fundamental tenets of public finance is "broaden the base and lower the rates."

The SALT exemption of course has inter-state effects. Mostly hurts high tax high income states like New York and California. But reducing loopholes is how you bring down tax rates.

I know Schumer will push very hard to get rid of it. He'll probably succeed. But it would be bad policy.
