I don't think this woman understands the words she's using. Oppression requires affirmative acts usually restricting autonomy. Abandoning is the withdrawal of all affirmative acts resulting in maximum autonomy.
 
I think it could happen closer to inauguration day. I think Trump might want to avoid the optics of being apart of the inauguration. He will say he is doesnt accept that he lost but accepts the reality that theres nothing he can do about it so he is eager to get back to his business and personal life. Then he can go to "undisclosed location" abruptly with him making his exit before the media has a chance to react. As soon as he resigns he can start making business deals officially and "legally". He has a lot of debt to pay off. Need to make that money.

I cant wait until we look back on the Trump movement in about 20 years and wonder WTF was wrong with those people. Not in a sense that they are bad people but in the sense that they didnt understand they were being conned.
 
We'll see TRUMP/MAGA flags and bumper stickers flying proudly in the South and around rural America for decades, much like the Confederate Flag.

There is one thing about the trumpy people that seems deeply contradictory to me. As I understand it, one of the things that animates them is they feel disrespected. But it seems to me many of them indulge in behavior designed to provoke disrespect. I don't get that.
