The Walking Dead

It's embarrassing that this show treats its fans like 12 year old girls. There's no way in hell he would have made it out of there. Really ruins the whole high stakes thing.
 
My faith in the show to be somewhat entertaining is waning fast.

Almost all the characters just make incomprehensible decisions all the time.

I like the show but this half season was one of the worst yet. I'm hoping with Neegan coming soon that it starts to pick up.
 
The show is doing what typically successful shows do once they reach season 6. When actors get paid more and more every season it becomes expensive to produce so a way AMC can keep things going is have more filler episodes for people to watch. And the fact it's all but certain a bunch of the main cast is going to die soon. I don't see Sasha, Abraham, Glenn/Daryl, and Morgan living past this season. Even Eugene should be dead soon.
 
Overall a very good episode. Wasn't happy with the directing. It could've been the best episode of the series with someone different behind the bullhorn.

I felt like the directing killed the pace on most of the action scenes (slow motion stuttering and rarely a smooth transition from scene to scene). Also at least one editing mishap.
 
Figured Neegan's people went way too easily. Shame they have Carol and Maggie. If Maggie dies, the show will become much uglier.

In the comics Negan kills Glenn with his baseball bat Lucille (the pictures Glenn were looking at on the wall).

I think the show would be more devastating if Negan killed a pregnant Maggie right in front of Glenn. Looks like Carol may be on her way out as well. Then again they've teased Glenn's death several times from Terminus all the way to the dumpster thing. They've been kind of foreshadowing it.

So they didn't get Negan... Wonderful.

It was a solid plan Rick. Guess they didn't have the whole story.
