The Wall

I wish Kasich or Bernie were in there. This circus is worst than Obama's and we aren't even 100 days in yet.

If it was Kasich, the only whining and complaining would be from 57 and maybe Goldie, but that is it on true die hard Liberals that would vote the devil in if he/she were elected.

Kasich wanted to build a wall too. To protect the Ohio-speaking people from the Michigan-speaking ones.

Withdrawing from NAFTA is actually something that is 100% within Trump's power. Why doesn't he do it?

y'all fall for this stuff every time. Great speech -what everyone wants to hear ... blah blah blah
markets are going crazy ...

The rapid start of construction, promised throughout Trump's campaign and in an executive order issued in January on border security, was to be financed, according to the White House, with "existing funds and resources" of the Department of Homeland Security.

But so far, the DHS has identified only $20 million that can be re-directed to the multi-billion-dollar project, according to a document prepared by the agency and distributed to congressional budget staff last week.

It is all a shell game.

i don't even get why he or anyone cares what the wall costs

i mean, he's getting Mexico to pay for it anyway

why does he give a **** what they pay?

Start by eliminating the departments of Education, Energy, Labor, Commerce and HUD. That saves over $170B annually. That should be enough to build the wall. That money could then go toward repairs and tech upgrades as needed.

:Gasp:

but why do we need to eliminate any of that for a stupid wall if Mexico is paying for it?

Because Mexico will not pay for it. Why would they? I'm a yuge Trump supporter, but I don't see Mexico paying anything for the wall. Maybe he and Congress will find a way to tax the money being sent back home by Mexicans working here. Regardless, I would eliminate those departments and return their functions to the states. It's time to revive the 10th amendment.
