The Wall

I have an idea inspired by the island of Alameda. For those of you who don't know Alameda is an island in the San Francisco Bay. It wasn't always an island. Up until 1902 it was a peninsula. But for reasons having to do with the operations of the port of Oakland a ditch was dug where a mud flat previously existed.

And so we have an island. The project of digging the ditch created many jobs over a 30 year period. Mother Nature keeps wanting to fill up the ditch so it periodically requires re-dredging. So more jobs. Tunnels and bridges have been built to connect Alameda to Oakland. More jobs.

My proposal is that we build a ditch instead of a wall. We can call it the Grand Canal. Or the Trump Moat. Or the Rio Muy Grande.

It will be the greatest feat of engineering ever. Bar none. It will create so many jobs. And then we can start building bridges to Mexico. Creating even more jobs. And periodically re-dredging it. More jobs. We can stock it with all sorts of fish and turn parts of it into parks for recreation. The possibilities are endless.

For year we always were told there were only 11 million illegals in the country. Now all of a sudden its agreed the number is closer to 30 million. Lets stop pretending we understand what is happening at the border.

Agreed - Lets build a wall there as well. But the good thing about Canada is that they have a much more stable country so working with their government is a more effective solution. Mexico, and central America, is and always has been a disaster.

Yeah, because it was clearly a racist right leaning outlet that released the study.

Its clear to almost anyone that we have been lied to about the illegal population and their ability to vote. We just get drip drip of the truth so it doesn't seem as bad as it really is.

That was the Trump shutdown from the beginning, and the reason for his manic insistence on “The Wall” scam as its justification.

On Tuesday night, Trump’s flaming dumpster train of distractions, lies, cons, and empty political promises flew off the rails and plunged into a mountain of burning tires in one of his worst public speeches.

After 17 days of a government shutdown temper tantrum, Trump needed a game-changing home run of a speech to change the political climate in D.C. He failed.

He basically reported today that border walls work.
