Remember when the MAGA crowd was crowing about 15M votes?
Well seems like we're going to end around 155M votes which is 3M down from 2020.
Seems like either
A. 2020 wasn't rigged. People didn't want to vote for Trump
or
B. 2024 is rigged for Trump.

Kind of opposite situations. Lake was in a state Republicans typically win running as a Republican. Beto was in a heavily Republican state running as a Democrat.
But it's also possible (probable) that another 2-3% that showed up for Biden, stayed at home this time. We all talked about it the last 4 months. Staging a political coup, disregarding millions of people who voted for Biden and installing your own candidate was terrible look for the Democrat party.

Also many people probably weren't happy with inflation etc. and wanted to change leadership. THat's almost certainly what happened. If the percentages hold Say it's 51-48 with some rounding, that means around 3% of the voters flipped and some stayed home. Which is what exit polls more or less indicated.
I'm not one who says the election was stolen. But with less than 50k votes deciding 2020, I don't think this proves anything.
There were definitely shenanigans that affected the 2020 election, particularly with the Hunter Biden laptop story.

I mean the same story was basically told from the 2016 stand point Narrow margins and key states won it for trump.
Using total vote count is stupid since republicans probably turned out millions of new voters. Democrats going to be short 5-8M votes from last year.
It’s still blatantly obvious what happened. But if you want to think Biden got 81m votes then you’re entitled to a wrong belief. As it happens with everything over time I will be proven right.

Margins are one thing. The amount of people that voted are another. Ballot harvesting was in full affect, especially in Dem run states.
Can’t imagine the amount of people in 2016 that didn’t vote for Trump beside they actually believed he was a Putin plant.
The whole perception of trumps performance in 16/18/20/22 has been wrong. Media manipulation and ballot manipulation was the only thing keeping MAGA down.

Trump is going to get around 4m more votes this year.
How many of those are new voters converted Biden?
Well I have repeatedly said that Trump did not actually get 74M votes in 2020 so I think its much larger gain this year primarily attributable to a true GOTV effort now that Ronna wasn't in charge.

How many Biden voters were converted to Trump voters?
Impossible to say but I'd give a range of 1-3M. Still doesn't account for the following:
1) Increase in voting population
2) No way to gauge in states like California where its hte wild west how much rampant cheating still existed in both years
3) How many low prop never before voters Trump turned out this year

And you aren't accounting for how many people voted for Biden in 2020 that simply weren't motivated to show up this time around.
